Our village

Andagna is an inland mountain village located in the western part of Liguria, in the High Argentina Valley.

A hamlet in the municipality of Molini di Triora, Andagna is a typical mid-mountain village Exposed at midday, it enjoys a splendid view and the sun illuminates it all day long. The village extends in a magnificent position halfway up the coast, at an altitude of about 730 m. above sea level.

Walking around the village you can find the typical narrow streets and charming carruggi that make the village an unforgettable place.

Andagna can be reached by the provincial road from Molini di Triora (3.5 km away), where the town hall is located.

"Rinaldo Firighelli" Ethnographic Museum

The Museum is located in the center of the village in a four-story house, donated by the Rinaldo Firighelli (Nino) family and collects the most authentic peasant and artisan testimonies of the area.

On the ground floor there are three rooms used as an old wine cellar, an elegant living room and Carpenter's Butea (workshop). On the first floor there is a Farmer's Hall with an old hand-drawn cart, some wooden and iron ploughs. On the second floor there is the kitchen and the bedroom. The museum has been completed on the top floor with a tribute to the Baggiue (Witches) of Andagna.

The Museum is open every day, the cost of the ticket is € 2,00.

How to reach us

Andagna can be reached from the A10 - Genova Ventimiglia Motorway, Arma di Taggia exit and following the signs for Triora (Provincial Road 548). Once in Molini di Triora, follow the signs for Andagna.
